Thanks to Motorola\u2019s DMR technology, users can now communicate from much greater distances: within stations, between stations, with signal boxes, via the Internet and even across different sites throughout Belgium. There are fewer sources of interference during radio calls and the coordination between stations to help a traveller with reduced mobility is facilitated. Besides, the radio now has a built-in GPS in order to assist SNCB collaborators when they find themselves in an unsafe situation.
