IT project manager: meeting rooms

How do you help make a difference?

As a Meeting Room Project Manager / Coordinator, you contribute to ensuring the continuity and successful delivery of strategic IT projects within SNCB/NMBS following the integration of FSM into B-ST.

The Meeting Room Project has been identified as a strategic IT initiative and is expected to experience significant growth over the coming years, with numerous rollout and refresh projects planned across the organization. You support this growth by ensuring the structured, high-quality implementation and standardization of meeting room solutions across multiple locations, while safeguarding project continuity and minimizing operational impact on existing teams.

What is your role at SNCB?

As a Meeting Room Project Manager / Coordinator, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• You perform site surveys and on-site requirements analyses for meeting room projects.

• You conduct technical validations of proposed solutions and supporting infrastructure.

• You ensure the standardization of meeting room solutions throughout the organization.

• You coordinate and manage the complete project lifecycle from analysis through delivery.

• You oversee project scope, planning, risks, and budget throughout implementation.

• You collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Exigences

Why is this job a good fit for you?

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in meeting room, audiovisual (AV), or unified communications (UC) projects.

• You have relevant professional experience in technical project delivery, infrastructure validation, and meeting room deployments.

You also possess these technical skills:

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience with meeting room, audiovisual, or unified communication projects.

• You have knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms.

• You have knowledge of network connectivity principles.

• You have knowledge of displays, audio platforms, and video platforms.

• You are able to independently perform technical validations.

• You are able to independently perform site surveys.

• You have proven experience managing projects from analysis through final delivery.

• You can manage and report on project scope, planning, risks, and budget.

• You can effectively coordinate with business stakeholders, facility management teams, IT teams, and external suppliers.

• You have experience defining technical standards within an enterprise environment.

• You have experience monitoring and enforcing technical standards within an enterprise environment.

• You can design and implement standardized meeting room solutions across multiple locations.

• You work in a structured manner and ensure compliance with architecture guidelines.

• You work in a structured manner and ensure compliance with security guidelines.

• You work in a structured manner and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.

• You have experience with meeting room, AV, or UC projects.

• You have knowledge of audiovisual solutions.

• You have knowledge of basic network architecture.

• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• You demonstrate experience in scope management.

• You demonstrate experience in planning management.

• You demonstrate experience in budget tracking and control.

• You have strong reporting capabilities.

And these soft skills:

• You communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, facility management teams, and external suppliers.

• You possess strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

• You demonstrate a structured and organized approach to project execution.

• You take a proactive approach in managing risks, escalations, and decision-making.

Asset:

• Experience working in large enterprise environments with standardized collaboration and meeting room solutions.

• Knowledge of large-scale meeting room deployment and refresh programs.
