Ypto is looking for Young Graduates who want to act as the link between IT and Business. You will manage applications and environments in one of the following domains: Physical Security and Network, and you will serve as the main point of contact and Application Owner for our developers, implementation partners, and colleagues within the team.

You will be part of the Operations department and the Physical Security & Network Team, where numerous digital transformation projects are developed in close collaboration with our customer, NMBS. The technologies managed within the team include CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Parking Systems, and Network.

Typical responsibilities of an Application Owner:

  • Keeping domain‑related servers operational (OS, databases, certificates, …)

  • Communicating with the Back Office regarding desired application functionalities

  • Creating and following up on Service Requests and Change Requests in collaboration with the Solution Architect

  • Following up on ServiceNow Problems

  • Participating in project meetings and contacting the necessary teams (Networking, DBAs, KPI, …)

  • Actively contributing to NIS2 cybersecurity requirements for servers and applications

  • Providing support for incoming incidents (INC’s)

  • Communicating with Technical PMs regarding field device issues

  • Applying ServiceNow methodology: Vulnerability Management, KA’s, IT Remediations

  • On‑ and offboarding servers for monitoring in ScienceLogic/Ignio

  • Communicating with Business, SOC, Control Rooms, and related teams for major upgrades, testing, and validation of new clients

  • Validating application updates between provider and back office

  • Validating application readiness (compatibility)

  • Following up on application distribution (Software Centers)

  • Evaluating application solution risks and interfacing with the DPO for validation

  • Ensuring a separate DB cluster/application and continuous duplication of the Milestone database

Requirements

  • A completed master’s degree in a relevant field, e.g.

    • Computer Science / Technology

  • A passion for technology

  • Eager to learn and ambitious

  • Able to pick up new things quickly

  • An international mindset

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and/or French, and excellent command of English

  • Strong analytical skills: you dive into business requirements and analyse until you fully understand the problem
