As Data & Analytics Application Analyst within our Data & Analytics team, you play an instrumental role in the realization of this vision by analyzing analytical needs, translating them to data needs and document the related functional requirements and designs:
- You analyse the SNCB’s data needs and translate them into understandable functional specifications
- You are in regular contact with various departments and their directors.
- You are interested in transport plans and transport operations and want to contribute to improving our operational efficiency and passenger service.
- You are interested in Maintenance Schedules, Immobilization Schedules, Transportation Plans, Human Resources related to work schedules, Supply Chain Management and Procurement.
- You assist the development and test team in translating your requirements correctly into validated data assets and test scenario’s
- You document the solutions and keep this documentation up-to-date.
- You regularly coordinate with data owners, data architects, data custodians, data consumers to draw up and manage the necessary roadmaps (improvements, bugs, incidents).
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (Application Owner, Functional Analyst, ...)
- Knowledge of and experience with Agile Scrum
- In-depth knowledge of and proven experience with Azure data estate.
- Knowledge of various analysis techniques (use cases, scenario creation, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written
- Good communication skills
- Methodical, precise and attention to detail
- Proactive, strong problem-solving and practice-oriented, organized
