Architecture Coach & Tooling Expert

As an Architecture coach (on enterprise level) in the Architecture Quality Assurance team, your mission is to coach, train and help the Technical, Solution and Domain architects in aligning with the Enterprise Architecture. You are also a sounding board for the architects in the company, bringing your experience to bear on architectural or organizational challenges.

• You play a pivotal role in delivering a robust and scalable modelling framework based on ArchiMate, enabling consistent and high-quality architecture representations. By applying your deep modelling expertise with the ARIS EA toolset, you ensure clear, actionable insights that support enterprise-wide alignment and decision-making.

• In collaboration with the other Enterprise Architects, you assess modelling needs, define guidelines, and take ownership of the architectural repository and its quality. Within this context, you also help shape and define the deliverables needed to support architects in their work. You take ownership of the creation and maintenance of key architectural deliverable templates, including the Architecture Lifecycle Document and the Architectural Knowledge Base, ensuring they remain effective tools for guiding architectural practice and knowledge sharing across the enterprise.

• You take the lead in training and coaching both beginning and experienced architects in the effective use of ArchiMate and Enterprise Architecture methodology.

• You are co-responsible for all architectural governance: way of working & process documentation

• You attend Architecture Council and help brief the community of Solution, Technology and Domain Architects on the goings on.

• You coach and advise your colleagues in the delivery architecture teams withing the company.

Vereisten

Education and Training

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Enterprise Architecture

• Experience in Strategy and Management consulting is highly recommended

• Ability to find consensus in challenging environments

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of compliance and Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF®, COBIT®) 

• Profound knowledge and experience in ArchiMate®, certification is a plus 

• Understanding of the ServiceNow data model and its relation to ArchiMate modeling

• Experience as a trainer and coach; leadership experience is a plus

• Hands-on experience with ARIS (ArchiMate based) 

• Broad knowledge of road mapping Application Architecture and Technology architecture 

• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills 

• Knowledge of TBM Taxonomy and practical application 

• Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
