Are you a passionate technologist with a strategic business mind? Do you thrive at bridging the gap between the two, ensuring IT fuels SNCB's success? If so, then we have the ideal opportunity for you as an Enterprise Business Architect!

In this crucial role, you'll become a strategic thought leader, shaping a modern IT landscape that seamlessly aligns with SNCB's ambitious goals. You'll be the mastermind behind linking strategic vision, information flow, and cutting-edge technology.

What makes this role stand out?

  • Become the Architect of Change: Lead the way in defining and implementing a future-proof IT strategy, ensuring every aspect – from data to applications – supports SNCB's growth.
  • Unlock Business Capability: Become the go-to expert on business capabilities and value streams, constantly optimising SNCB's operational efficiency.
  • Shape the IT Landscape: Collaborate with key stakeholders across all levels, from senior management to subject matter experts, to build a unified vision for a best-in-class IT landscape.
  • Trusted Advisor: Your expertise will make you a valuable resource for senior management, guiding them through the ever-evolving world of technology.
  • Thriving Team Environment: Join a collaborative team of enterprise architects, each with specialised skills, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a proven track record:

  • A minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in a closely related field (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Business Analyst).
  • A strategic mind honed by experience in management consulting – a plus for navigating complex business landscapes.
  • Deep understanding of compliance and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF®, COBIT®).
  • Expertise in Business Architecture Guild's BIZBOK® Guide with a focus on Business Capability and Value Streams.
  • Proficiency in ArchiMate® (certification a plus) to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Communication is Key! You'll need the ability to clearly explain complex digital concepts to both business leaders and technical teams. Fluency in English and Dutch (or French) with a passive understanding of the third language is a must.

This is your chance to make a real impact. If you're ready to be the architect of SNCB's IT future, we want to hear from you!

Within our open corporate culture, you contribute to the digital transformation of SNCB. You will have a job with social impact and ample opportunity to make your own contribution. In addition to a good work-life balance and a competitive salary, you will receive the following benefits:
