Are you a passionate IT professional with a keen eye for strategic architecture? Do you thrive on bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you as an Enterprise Domain Architect!

In this pivotal role, you'll become the guardian of SNCB's IT domain, ensuring a sound, consistent, and efficient architecture that drives business value. You'll be the mastermind behind translating business capabilities into actionable digital solutions.

What makes this role stand out?

  • Become the Architect of the IT Domain: Lead the way in defining and maintaining a robust IT architecture, aligning with SNCB's overall vision and strategy.
  • Bridge the Business-IT Gap: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, from business units to portfolio management, to understand and fulfill their IT needs.
  • Roadmap to the Future: Develop a clear digital roadmap in tandem with the business and delivery teams, prioritizing projects and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Process & Technology Expertise: You'll be a master of IT processes and frameworks, including IT4IT, ITIL, and information security best practices.
  • Solution Architect: Participate in vendor selection and solution implementation, working alongside solution and technical architects.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a proven track record:

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in IT, with a focus on domain architecture, enterprise architecture, or business analysis.
  • A strategic mind honed by experience in management consulting (a plus).
  • Deep understanding of IT4IT, ITIL, and information security frameworks.
  • Proficiency in ArchiMate®, BPMN, and UML for clear and concise architectural representations.
  • The ability to balance long-term vision with tactical needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for all levels, from business leaders to C-suite executives.
  • A methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – you'll be a master at getting the information and collaboration you need.

This is your chance to make a real impact on SNCB's IT future. If you're ready to shape the digital landscape, we want to hear from you!

Bonus points:

  • Experience within the public transport or rail industry.
  • Fluency in both Dutch or French and English.
