SNCB is currently undergoing a transition to integrate a new back-end system, which includes upgrading to a new version of Sitecore. The primary objective of this project is to develop a responsive website hosted on a stable cloud architecture capable of meeting both current and future business requirements. To achieve this goal, we have established a dedicated project team and are seeking to augment this team with two experienced Sitecore developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and deploy a responsive website on a stable cloud architecture using Sitecore
  • Utilize your expertise in .NET development, with a minimum of 8 years of experience, to contribute to the successful implementation of the project
  • Leverage your extensive experience with Sitecore, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably having completed at least one project on Sitecore 8 or higher
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and practical experience with ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI
  • Contribute to all aspects of web development, including REST API implementation, ASP.NET MVC, and WebAPI development
  • Work effectively within an agile team environment, collaborating closely with other team members to achieve project goals
  • Utilize your knowledge of T-SQL to support database operations and development tasks
  • Implement best practices in CSS3, HTML5, and responsive design to ensure a high-quality user experience
  • Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks to enhance website functionality
  • Utilize Azure as our website is hosted on the Azure web platform, leveraging your expertise in this area
  • Provide additional support and expertise with Sitecore 8, contributing to the overall success of the project

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of .NET development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sitecore experience, preferably with at least one project completed on Sitecore 8 or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET development, Sitecore (version 8 or higher), ASP.NET MVC, and WebAPI.
  • Proficiency in web development technologies, including REST API, ASP.NET MVC, and WebAPI.
  • Experience working in an agile team environment, collaborating closely with other team members.
  • Knowledge of T-SQL for database operations and development.
  • Proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, and responsive design principles.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience working with Azure for website hosting is highly desirable.
  • Expertise with Sitecore 8 is considered a plus.
