As a Functional Analyst (and a part as Business Analyst), you are part of the team Analysis & Solution Design, department Solution Delivery SPS (Sales, Passenger & Security Information).
Responsibilities in functional analysis:
- Translates business requirements into functional requirements, containing acceptance criteria
- Defines functional specifications (front-end + middle-layer)
- Provides support during the implementation of the solution
- Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets the client's requirement
- Communicates in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)
- Ensures quality assurance of the final product by conducting tests and validations
Responsibilities in business analysis:
- Capture business (client) requirements and prioritize these (MOSCOW or WSJF)
- Being able to describe business processes (BPMN or alike) and suggest improvements
- Communicates in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)
Vereisten
- Completed degree in computer science or a similar field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
- Profound knowledge BPMN and UML
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French, both orally and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in analyzing business processes and systems
- Ability question requirements in a healthily critical way and record a supported conclusion
- Experience in drafting functional specifications and defining requirements
- Will work (at least) 2 days in the offices, located in Anderlecht (Brussels)
